Okay, my english is not the best and this blog tool does not give me any help with spelling so there will be some misspelling.
But, I thought it could be of interest to hear how it is to get back to Sweden. Not that it was that really long I was gone and I visited Sweden fairly often during this period.
Apartment - The apartment contract is now ended and last day for it is the 14th of October. The plan to keep it and on a regular basis use it when visiting the team in Kiev. The idea fell short when I realized that I will have no control. And no control combined with responsability is just negative stress. I don't like negative stress so it had to go. I mean I don't send postcards on vacation for that reason so this was a easy choise :-)
The most common question when returned to Sweden is how it feels. I have answered it a couple of times now and probably different every time. I guess it's because I don't really know.
The team is doing well without me - it's good and that was the plan but not to be needed is also a feeling in the feeling bank. My last days (when ending/cleaning :-) ) the apartment I also was at the office and realized they are doing good. I'm proud over what they can and the ambition they have.
It's amazing how much stuff you collect when just "living". Okay I'm a collector and like to shop "stuff" and I abviously had done that. Plenty of stuff whent to the Childerens House in Piski and the rest to a friend.
The most important stuff I got home on the first trip :-)
Local traffic - I just started a new assignment and to get there I have to go to Stockholm city and to get there I travel by bus, train (pendeltåg), and subway (tunnelbanan).
On the first day the train could not go further than Solna and all passenger was asked to leave the train and continue the travel by walking to nearest metro or taking the connecting busses. A good start on the swedish transport system and I realized that I have never during my time in Kiev seen the metro beeing broke. When going home the subway was broke and when finaly it shoed up not every body could not fit in it.
That was the first day and after that everything works okay but then I felt scared - 6 mounth with this ???
I have also had the time to buy a car and for the first time it will be a brand new car - Volvo C30. It's like christmas all over again.
I have no intention to read this text my self so it will contain a lot of wrong spelling.
Take care everybody.
