L'viv as city is now yet again safe and I'm back in Kiev. I was already in Kiev yesterday after a marathon drive the 60-ish Swedish miles (600 km). The only goal yesterday was to get to the airport in Kiev with enough time for me to catch the flight to Stockholm. With a flight at 17.34 it would be pleeeeenty of time to also eat some dinner before checking in. It turned out that pleeenty of time meant a whole extra day because the flight left the ground at 15.45 and I need new glasses. Lucky I had the apartment still in reach. But what about L'viv and the trip now when summarizing it all? L'viv is a beautiful city with an interesting difference in personality of people - compared with Kiev. I would not go so far to say that they are friendlier when just staying for two days so I keep it different and let you all globetrotters find out for your self. We stayed on day - from morning to night - in city and visited restaurants, bars and other interesting buildings - hills - towers - exhibitions. One well known and often talked about place is where you knock on the door and when the little opening then opened say the secret password. Luckily L knew the password so we got in - I got vodka like liquid - and could order our breakfast. I let that symbolize the bar/pub life in Kiev. The second day was for castles and fortress around L'viv. Our gps (iPhona) had trouble deciding and if to be honest I don't think you had been there before. Typically Ukranians....:-) Ohhh... that was a long summarizing even if there is more to tell. But I had a great trip and is grateful for L who showed me the top places and even some not well known. Dja Ko You! That does not mean that L is Ko-Ko.

In L'viv now or just outside to be more correct and finally in a hotel bed. I would not be here right now if it was not for the co driver aka. car barrista who drove I big part of the way. The day was a little too long for my head and a headache put an end to the driving for me and for today. From Kiev to here it's about 500 to 600 km.... in night...when it's dark..... Something that was really not good to see was an accident. I saw it in the rear view mirror on the motorway. A truck crossed the road to get over to the other side and probably go back to Kiev. I noticed he had a high speed when doing the u-turn and soon noticed a smoke from the car in that lane which the tuck was blocking. The smoke came from the breaks. The car did not stop. Car hit truck, now almost finished turning, and truck falls over landing on the side and on the side of the road. As said before - the cars in Ukraine is so small the brain does not fit in it. Tomorrow it's breakfast in town planing from there (if plan is not already made) - I like planned plans. Headache is now over but something on the outside is really noisy, I hope it gives up.

On the way back to Kiev. This time the trip is not work related it's all about vacation. I learned that you have not seen anything if you haven't seen L'viv, so there I'm going now. Right now I'm in a empty big room at Tallinn airport and it 3 hours wait for my flight. Because I know flying to a non EU country I pass the customs control. These waiting rooms are usually really boring and this is not an exception. Before I passed the customs control I saw the signs that they have restaurant and tax free and coffee place. I even asked the lady in passport control and she confirmed. What stupid me did not understand was that it was CLOSED. It will be 3 fun hours. Other good news is that I have a delivery date on my new car. The latest info is the beginning of November. It's not too soon because yesterday reverse stopped working on Super Baleno. I only park uphill from now.
